Hillsborough - Students of Carriacou & Petite Martinique who were successful in the 2009 Common Entrance Examinations are the beneficiaries of educational assistance from a prominent Carriacou-born educator.
Dr. Everson Peters, who hails from Dover, has donated notebooks, pens and geometry sets to all the students who are entering secondary schools in Carriacou.
An advisor to the Ministry of Carriacou & Petite Martinique Affairs, Dr. Peters is also a Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad.
The lecturer through a letter offered words of encouragement to the students. He told them that as they move from primary to secondary school, they should remain focused and be serious about their educational development.
