Miss Spicy Grenada will be held on August 6th 2009 at the Grenada trade Center under the theme ‘Celebrating Intelligence and Beauty’. It is with pleasure we announce the names of the contestants for this year’s show. This premiere pageant will feature seven of Grenada’s beautiful and intelligent young women. The contestants will compete in platform speech, swimwear, costume, and evening wear categories. The show is dubbed as one of the highlights of Spice Mas 2009. Contestants will be representing the various parishes including Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The basic criteria for entry into the pageant are 18-25 years, completion of secondary school education, excellent physical structure, attractive features, great communication skills and wonderful personality. According to organizers, the show is designed to portray the intelligence and overall beauty of the Grenadian young women. Patrons can expect a show of quality with excellent entertainment as the young women compete with great spirit and grace. The contestants are all excited as they prepare to engage in various practice sessions and public engagements leading up to the show. The show provides an excellent opportunity for contestants to develop their self-confidence and communication skills including public speaking and image building. Miss Spicy Grenada encourages the contestants to pursue their educational and career dreams. The reigning Miss Spicy Grenada is Miss. Beverly Victor a teacher at the St. Joseph’s Convent in St. George’s.
