On behalf of the Government of Grenada and the Consulate General of Grenada in New York, I would like to take this opportunity to express heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to making Grenada Day on Sunday a resounding success. Sincere thanks to the vendors, artistes, DJ’s, distinguished representatives, community organizations, especially GRENCAP United, and most importantly, the entire Grenadian community and friends of Grenada who participated and supported this event in large numbers. This year we were honored to have in our midst celebrating Grenada Day Hon. Peter David and Hon. Patrick Simmons. This being our maiden voyage we are indeed encouraged by the support shown and excited about the potential for growth and development of this event.
