TWENTY-FIVE TERTIARY LEVEL STUDENTS FROM GRENADA TRAVEL...
GRENADA - Twenty-five tertiary level students from Grenada received a special briefing yesterday at the Ministry of Works conference room as they prepare to leave the island for Antigua. The students were briefed by the Communications Specialist of the CSME Unit – CARICOM. The students are part of the project “Students Engaging the CSME through Field promotion,” which will see them traveling to the island of Antigua from September 27 to October 03. Under this project, twenty-five tertiary level students from Jamaica will be arriving in Grenada from August 30 to September 05. The objective behind this innovative project is for students to engage the various stakeholders in the CSME in respect of career opportunities, wage employment, self-employment and the ease of starting a business. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Timothy Antoine, urged the students to ask questions during their trip and be proud ambassadors of their country.
