The death of Christopher Jogie, a 38-year old man from the village of Forde in St. Andrew’s, has not been attributed to any foul play but has been deemed a suicide by local authorities. Reports reaching this news desk are that on Sunday last (August 16), Jogie went to the area of the Telescope quarry and threw himself off a high cliff. The injuries sustained in the fall are believed to have resulted in his death. It is believed that prior to his death, Jogie would have complained to family and friends about feeling very depressed. The deceased is said to have returned to Grenada from the USA about six months ago and was trying to return but was experiencing difficulties.
