Hillsborough, August 20th, 2009- The types of cleaning products which should be used at health institutions, basic life skills training and customer service were topics covered at a training workshop for health workers in Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Quality Improvement Officer within the Ministry of Health , Nurse Ruth Penny, conducted the training at the nurses hostel of the Princess Royal Hospital. She said the response from workers was good. The training was sponsored by the Pan American Health Organisation and it is hoped that this would lead to an improvement in the services provided by the health workers. By Deanna Isaac
