As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to S.S.U, Drug Squad, R.R.U, and C.I.D, Grenville Police Station, within the Eastern Division, the following persons were arrested and charged: Joan Wells, 53 yrs, Domestic Worker, residing at La Poterie, St. Andrew’s, Martin Jeremiah, 59 yrs, Painter, residing at La Fortune, St. Patrick’s, Dennis Sampson, 34 yrs, Labourer, residing at Telescope, St. Andrew’s and Augustine McMillan, 39 yrs, Craftsman, residing at Cook Hill Road, Grenville, St. Andrew’s were arrested and charged for the offence of Gambling. Andre Alexander, 34 yrs, Shopkeeper, residing at Cook Hill Road, Grenville, St. Andrew’s was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug, to wit: six ounces and nine ounces of Cannabis respectively. Keshon Morain, 25 yrs, Construction Worker, residing at La Tante, St. David’s, was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug, to wit: nine $5.00 wrapped portions of Cannabis, Desmond Lewis, 21 yrs, Carpenter, residing at Maulty, St. David’s, was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug, to wit: one hand roll Cannabis cigarette, Jason Phillip, 30 yrs, Shopkeeper, residing Coals Gap, St. David’s, was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug, to wit: one wrapped portion of Cannabis, Curtis Thomas, 21 yrs, Labourer, residing at Windsor Forest, St. David’s, was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of an Offensive Weapon, to wit: a knife, Patrick Charles, 58 yrs, Craftsman, residing at Gladstone Road, Grenville, St. Andrew’s was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug, to wit: one hand roll Cannabis cigarette and Daniel Ranger, 39 yrs, Labourer, residing at Sendall Street, Grenville, St. Andrew’s was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of an Offensive Weapon, to wit: a cutlass. A total of six cutlasses, one hatchet and one hundred and thirty-seven portions of Crack Cocaine were found, no one was arrested. Occurred on the 14.10.2009.
