St. George’s, GRENADA – A disabled man of Mt. Rich, St. Patrick, is the latest beneficiary of the housing assistance programme of the Ministry of Housing, Lands and Community Development. The ministry provided in surplus of EC$9,500. in building material for the construction of a wooden home for Mr. Donette Richardson. Mr. Richardson and members of the Community of Mt.Rich and surrounding communities assisted in the construction of this home. Kallan Simon, Housing Programme Co-coordinator in the Divison, said his Ministry is committed to finding suitable housing solutions for low- and middle -income earners across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The current housing program of the government of Prime Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas, has disbursed over $170,000. in grants to more than 35 families nationwide.
