The Westmorland Secondary School (WSS) has once again emerged the champions of this year’s GRENLEC sponsored Inter-Secondary School debate competition. The WSS team came up against their counterparts from the St. Joseph’s Convent (Grenville) at the Grenada Trade center on Friday November 27, 2009 and defeated them by a mere 1 point. WSS amassed 198.75 points and SJC (Grenville) amassed 197.75 points. The moot for the debate was: Be it resolved that the evidence of global warming is conclusive.
