Hillsborough, Carriacou, December 21st, 2009- The idea of the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs to introduce steel pan music to the students of the six primary schools on the sister isles is now reaping success. For the first time ever, steel pan music was one of the features at the annual Parang Festival. Listening to the young pan musicians was a happy moment for Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, Senator the Hon. George Prime.
