The Political Leader and members of the Executive of the Grenada United Labour Party wish to congratulate the New Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. Kamla Persad-Bissessar. The GULP wishes Former Prime Minister Patrick Manning all the best in his future political endeavours; he has done well for Trinidad and Tobago. Now the table has turned, the First Lady Prime Minister of TNT has a lot on her hand and must now begin the transformation in Trinidad and Tobago. GULP offers its hand of friendship to Ms. Kamla Persad-Bissessar and wishes her all the best in her new Political Portfolio. May God watch over her tenure and may her Government succeed for the sake of our family and friends in Trinidad and for all. The People’s Partnership must now remain united and deliver on their promises. Their win is a clear indication that the people will not tolerate inequity or an imbalanced Government. Governments must put the needs of the people first and men who are called to serve must serve selflessly. The GULP hopes the people of Trinidad and Tobago will rally around their new female Prime Minister and work together to build a better society for all. GULP is keeping close watch on the sweeping changes in the thinking of the electorates regionally and would be restructuring to suit these worldwide phenomena of change. From the GULP
