GRENADA INVESTMENT SEMINAR
It'a amazing our farmers have not been encouraged by past administrations and NDC to focus more attention on growing cocoa, nutmeg and banana, as they're the foundation of our stable economy. Why aren't more funds and agricultural incentives devoted to farmers who are willing to go the long haul to reclaim Grenada's standing on the world market where these products are concerned? Why has not any Grenadian administration attempted to seek the U.N. intervention into the destruction of Grenada's banana industry by the South American banana mongol? Our banana, nutmeg and cocoa industries lost their competitive edge when the GFairy administration allowed the fraudulent spraying of our crops, under the pretence that they were trying to destroy a destructive bug. Why hasn't an investigation sought after? And Nazim Burke, I firmly believe you need to carefully consider cutting salaries, oversee travels in order to save our economy and lessen the financial burdens on us-taxpayers. Your speech is of no substance as far as I am concerned. Show the people you have their interest at heart by calling for cuts in government waste.
