GOVERNOR GENERAL VISITS ELDERLY CITIZENS |

Hillsborough, Carriacou, December 22, 2010- The message of peace and goodwill common around this time year was brought to the residents and staff of the Top Hill Senior Citizens Home by Governor General, Sir Carlyle Glean.
His Excellency, accompanied by his wife, Lady Norma Glean, noted that the contributions made by senior citizens towards the development of the Tri-island State must be recognized. Therefore, it is important, he said, that he pays an annual visit to the institution.
Sir Carlyle led the singing of Christmas carols which brought smiles to the faces of the 16 residents.
The Governor General also visited the Princess Royal Hospital where he mingled with staff and patients.
