POPULAR BUSINESSMAN ATTACKED AND ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
Information reaching the news desk of Grenadian Connection states that popular Grenadian businessman, Wayne “Waggy T” Redhead, was attacked during the early hours of Sunday morning (June 12, 2011) at his home in Mt. Nestbit by an armed assailant and robbed. It is reported by another news agency that Waggy T was approached by the armed bandit (as he -Waggy T - came out from his vehicle) and proceeded to fire shots from the gun he carried, forcing the businessman to take refuge in an old vehicle close by. It is alleged that Mrs. Redhead, who was still in the vehicle, was ordered out of it by the bandit and told to drop the bag she was holding and to lie on the ground. The bag was snatched from her by the bandit and a few more shots fired before he dashed off to a waiting vehicle which subsequently sped off. Local lawmen were called in and are currently conducting investigations into the armed robbery.

Gabe, I wish you'd convince me, brotha...I appreciate every effort you're making to convince me that the matter was beyond the control of NNP and NDC. However, it's very disturbing... for we as a people to leave such inhumane acts against law abiding citizens go unattended and unchallenged. Like I said before, I firmly believe the release and employment of the Gang of 17 were conspiracies collaborative carried out by Keith Mitchell/NNP and TIllman Thomas/NDC. If Grenada is an independent nation (as alleged), why does a foreign country have total control over its independent and democratically elected government...and are you also insinuating that the British Privy Council (consist of old white men who does not even look like any of us) is the one who employed Barbarians Hudson Austin, Leon "Bogo" Cornwall, Cecil Prime and other unknown Gang of 17 who are on government payroll? Can you also expalin to me why Keith Mitchell, pastor Winston Garraway and other oppostion members including Martin "Washington" Edwards have failed to challenge NDC administrtion on such an issues? Aren't we Grenadians a bunch of gullible hypocrites...why haven't our government done justice for those who are still hurting from such a great loss...why have Hudson Austin, Leon "Bogo" Cornwall, Cecil Prime and other members of the Gang of 17 forced to pay financial damages to their victims and survivors of those they murdered...why haven't they Gabe?

Bro Damond i have stayed with you on your mission re the gang of 17 and yes you have put forward very strong cases as to the whys and where fors and why these murders should still be in jail, also your concerns re the employing of some of these people in to government on their release and here one has to look at both sides of the coin for it was said the last government of the NNP was using the service of COARD as a financial adviser on behalf of the NNP government even while he was in jail, again it said that coard wife Phyllis Coard was release/allow to go to Jamaica for medical reasons because quote she is suffering from an incurable cancer and guess what she is still alive today living there with her husband coard, also it is fair to say that the government of tillman thomas is not soley to blame for the release of the gang of 17,this was mainly the result of several appeals hearings in the london england high court of appeals by the law lords and it is only fair that we as posters try and enlighten our readers and our people of some of the legalities concerning the release of these murderous bastards and as sad as it is to thoes who have lost their love ones on this terrible day and is still hurting we have got to move on but should not forget and that we hope and pray that that no such babaric acts ever happen again in our country and with the formation of the new Caribbean Courts of Justice ,the administering of the law at the highest level/degree will surfice to say go a long way to addressing these legal issues.

Hangman, injustice any where, is injustice every where. The releasing and employment of members of the Gang of 17 is a demonstration of Tillman Thomas and NDC's disregard for justice, fairness and true representation, especially of the victims-deceased and alive of the 1983 massacre. The decision made by our present administration should never be allowed to happen in any 21st century civilization...I hope people are paying attention to their politically motivated decision(s). Infact, based on the decision of releasing and hiring the Gang of 17, I think we as a people should call for the closure of the Richmond Hill Prison and release of all prisoners held there. We accepted the Gang of 17 release and employment. Right! Why can't we do the same for those held there now...guess they don't have that financial and political backing, huh! The crimes committed by Hudson Austion, Leon "Bogo" Cornwall, Cecil Prime, Ventour, Barbaric and heineous Criminal Engineers Bernard and Phiylis Coard, Strachan and the others are to be equated with that of Alqaeda's 9/11 and Hitler's extermination of the Jews in Germany. Since we stood idly by and allowed NDC to embrace and cater to the Gang of 17, why can't we then call for the freeing of all prisoners at the Richmond HIll Prison....? Are the prisoners held there pose a greater risk to society than the Gang of 17? Food for thought!

DAMOND IF YOU READ MY POST ON THE GROUP OF 17,YOU WILL KNOW MY DISDAIN FOR THEM,I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY THE TILLMAN ADMINSTRATION WILL HIRE THESE CONVICTS,WHEN WE HAVE QUALIFIED GOOD PEOPLE THAT NEED JOBS,BUT AGAIN THEY HAVE NO SHAME JUST LIKE KIETH MITCHELL THEIR DIGINITY GONE TO THE DOGS,WHEN PEOPLE LACK ALL SELF RESPECT,WHEN PEOPLE ARE DETACHED FROM REALITY,WHEN PEOPLE DEPENDS ON THE IGNORANCE OF OTHERS TO STAY AND GET INTO POWER,DO WE EXPECT BETTER?DAMOND THE MORE THINGS CHANGE THE MORE IT REMAINS THE SAME.

Hangman and Jacky, we all responsible for what's happening...yes, we bury our heads in the sand and refuse to speak out when wrongs are done, simultaneously, we also elect people into office who seem to reward criminal activities here in Grenada. How many of you have demonstrated and call for change in our political and justice systems after the releasing and hiring of members of the Gang of 17...men who committed the most atrocious, barbaric, inhumane and heineous crime against humanity...how many of you stood up and had the gutts to speaking out against the NDC administration who hired Hudson Austin, Leon "Bogo" Cornwall, Cecil Prime and other Gang 17 members...our willingless to remain silent on the latter only demonstrations punishment is not a dterrent to theft, murder, etc. In fact, it shows crime pays. Well qualified and law abiding citizens were overlooked in favor of these Alqaeda and Hitler renegades. These are issues you guys should also be willing to confront.
