TORONTO - BASED GRENADA HOSPITAL BUILDING FUND DONATES ...
Medical items, valued at more than 17,000, Canadians dollars have been donated to the Ministry of Health by the Organization for Grenada Hospital Building Fund (OGHBF) based in Toronto, Canada. The list of items includes cleaning equipment and solution, multimedia equipment, kitchen equipment and utensils, toys, clothing, bed sheets and medical accessories. The presentation of the supplies was made to Senior Nursing Office at the Richmond Home for the Elderly, Gloria Belfon, and to Kester Cyrus, Administrative Officer at the Princess Alice Hospital. The hand over was conducted by Gizelle Charles, an OGHBF member now visiting Grenada. The group, which was formed more than a decade ago, has made previous donations of items such as beds, mattresses, wheel chairs, walkers, bed pans, portable urinals, books, hand sanitizers and dispensers, and pulse oximeters to the Grenadian Health Ministry. Charles reaffirmed that OGHBF is dedicated and committed, and will continue to render assistance to Grenada for the benefit of the Grenadians. In receiving the items, Cyrus and Belfon expressed gratitude to Charles and her organization, emphasizing that the supplies will be used for their intended purposes.
