14 persons were arrested and charged by officers at the Criminal Investigations Department, St. George’s for varying offenses ranging from obtaining credit by fraud, issuing a cheque with insufficient funds, wounding, possession of and intention to supply a controlled drugs, stealing, causing dangerous harm, and housebreaking. Multiple charges were laid against Jensen Alexis, 25 years old of Victoria, St. Mark. Alexis appeared before the St. George’s Magistrate Court on May 29th 2012 charged with 2 counts of issuing a cheque with insufficient funds and was granted bail in the sum of twenty thousand dollars with 2 sureties and on a count of obtaining credit by fraud was granted bail at five thousand dollars. Also arrested and charged was Kurt Cox of Fenton Village, St. George who was caught within hours of a report of housebreaking and stealing at Majestic Department Store in the town of St. George’s. Meanwhile, Sheldon Lewis of New Hampshire, St. George who was charged with possession of a controlled drug and intent to supply, dangerous harm as well as stealing from the person was granted bail in the sum of four thousand dollars and is due to appear in Court on July 7th 2012 source:rgpf
