26 years old D.J of Mongo Road Gouyave St. John was on Wednesday 4th July, 2012 remanded to the Richmond Hill Prison. Kevon Collins was arrested and charged by officers of the Gouyave Police station on Tuesday 3rd July for the offence of Causing a Wound to David Thomas, 31 years old electrician of Grand Roy St. John. The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday 30th June, 2012 on Upper Depradine Street Gouyave known as the Lanse. Thomas was stabbed to his neck, shoulder and back and is presently a patient at the General Hospital. Collins was taken before magistrate Jerry Searles on Monday, 2nd July, 2012 where bail was refused. He is remanded to Richmond Hill Prison until Tuesday 24th July, 2012 when he will make his second court appearance at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court.
