Grenada’s Kirani James has won his semi-final heat in the Men’s 400m at the Olympic Games in London. James’s time of 44.59 was his best of the season, and he is heavily favored by track and field pundits to win the event. South Africa’s Oscar Pistorius, the so-called “Blade Runner”, who also ran in James’s heat, failed to qualify for the next round.
