NEW SERVICE FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS
In an effort to better serve the general public the Passport Office is now offering a new service to applicants for Grenada passports. This latest addition to its line of service, called the Emergency Service, provides for the issuance of a new passport within twenty-four hours. The fee for this service as stipulated in the Passport (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 dated September 21st 2012, is one hundred Eastern Caribbean currency dollars, and, is in addition to the regular one hundred and twenty-five dollars to be paid on application for a new passport. This Emergency Service does not apply to persons whose passports would have been reported lost or damaged. There has been no change to the Express Service offered for persons desirous of obtaining a new Grenada passport within forty-eight (48) hours. The fee remains at fifty (50) dollars. Persons whose passports have been reported lost, stolen or damaged are still required to pay the stipulated fee of two hundred and fifty dollars.
