MONDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2012 – Prime Minister Hon. Tillman Thomas has extended congratulations to the European Union, on being awarded the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize. The congratulations were extended to His Excellency Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council on the Union’s behalf.
The following is the full text of the message:
Excellency, on behalf of the Government and People of Grenada, it is truly an honour for me to congratulate the European Union on being awarded the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize.
This meritorious award highlights the Union’s commitment to the advancement of peace, stability, democracy and human rights, not only in Europe, but throughout the globe.
Once again, Your Excellency, I congratulate the European Union on this prestigious recognition.
I further take this opportunity to extend best wishes for your personal well-being, and to convey reassurances of my highest consideration.
Mr. Tillman Thomas, wait I forgot something else: you were voted in to 'let the progress continue.' Is this what you call progress?? Making a complete fool of the grenadian people with all this political antics in the government? In the meantime, instead of doing us all a favour and get out of there you choose to hold the grenadian people hostage and shutting them up (shutting down the main issue in Parliament) while you try to save your own face!? Are you serious?? Somehow I had the feeling that this NDC set up was going to destroy itself from the onset. Let the truth be told: we are watching and taking careful note. You will be shocked in the coming days...mark these words.

I will give you a chance you are not the only one vote NDC I did too.everyone is hurting but you have to give RESPECT where RESPECT is due he is the PM and thats his duty to CONGRATULATES EU on the NOBLE PRIZE the world is watching (FOOL)

on second thoughts, mind your business. stay out of this. my comments are not for you i'm talking to NDC and their government. Mr. Tillman Thomas I find you to be a complete and utter waste of time. I voted for you not because things were bad, it was because I said ok give someone else a chance continue the progress. Well i have COMPLETELY regretted it. NOT AGAIN. FULL STOP.
