GET READY FOR GRENADA SAILING WEEK
Organizers of the newly formed Grenada Sail Week, which replaces the keelboat regatta previously organized by the Grenada Sailing Festival, invite sailors from near and far to come and "Sail de Spice" January 31 to February 5, 2013. In a press release, Grenada Sailing Week organizers said they have made it easy to register for the event online, including payment of registration fees at “an unbeatable US$60.00 per boat.” The Grenada Sailing Week Board says they are proud that Camper & Nicholsons is the main sponsor for the event, known as the Grenada Sailing Week Camper & Nicholsons Race Series. “Participants will benefit as in the past from the use of the ideal Port Louis Marina facility, so conveniently placed for access to racing courses and fully equipped to host post-racing events,” the Board said. The organizers promise a great experience for participants and supporters - four days of competitive racing, one Lay Day on a beautiful beach and six nights of hot parties! Sailors will compete in the following classes - Racing 1 & 2, Cruising 1 & 2, Charter, Multihull and Fun. Entries from Grenada, Carriacou, Trinidad, Barbados, UK, USA and Austria have already started to come in. Source: grenadasailingweek.com
