The due date for the Commonwealth Flag Project launched by the Youth Division in the Prime Minister’s Ministry has been extended. Due to the tremendous interest shown by young people to participate in the project, the closing date for submissions is now May 8th, 2004. The Project targets persons aged 18 years and under. Invitations are extended to young people to produce scrapbooks containing a hand drawn flag of each Commonwealth member state, the name of each Head of State and a short profile of each member state. The producer of the first correctly completed scrapbook will win a cultural exchange trip to a Commonwealth country. Producers of the next ten correctly completed scrapbooks will receive consolation prizes.
