SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE OBAMA INAUGURATION

As the people of the U.S. and the world wait to welcome Barack Obama as the first ever African-American president of the United States we invite Grenadianconnection.com viewers to share their thoughts on what this will mean. Will an Obama administration help the Caribbean or ignore the region? Can he make the change he promised? Will America be better or worse under his leadership? Will the Caribbean be better or worse off? Do Caribbean people in the region and in the U.S. expect too much from Obama?
Check out the Caribbean videos and poetry dedicated to the incoming president, and give your comments on this defining moment in history below. (And if you just happen to be in D.C. please send us some photos.)

I never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Now my 6 year old son wants to be president when he grows up. I don't know if Obama will have time for the Caribbean as America is in such a mess with the economy and everything, but if he can fix that then we in the West Indies will be better off also.
