St. George's, Grenada; Thursday 12th January, 2012_Prime Minister Tillman Thomas today headed a three member Ministerial team in meetings with representatives of the Grenada Breweries Limited and the Technical and Allied Workers Union. The two separate meetings are designed to bridge the gap between the two parties in the ongoing industrial impasse at the Grenada Breweries. This morning GBL representatives, including Chairman Andrew Sabga, Dr. Partrick Antoine, Ron Antoine – General Manager of the Grenada Breweries and lawyer Deighton Mitchell, met with the Prime Minister, Minster for Finance Nazim Burke and Minister of State with responsibility for Information and Mobilisation, Senator Glen Noel. “The meeting was substantive, cordial and respectful. The Breweries delegation thanked the Prime Minister for his invitation and welcomed his involvement in the process,” said Sen. Noel. This afternoon the Prime Minister and his team met with TAWU representatives, including President General Senator Chester Humphrey, Bert Patterson, Andre Lewis, Trevor Xavier and shop stewards of the union at the breweries. The Prime Minister welcomed the TAWU delegation and outlined his administration’s position on the impasse.

Stallion, until we as a people (the masse including me too) are willing to see beyond ourselves, our lazy and hate to read black asses, ignorance, stupidity, the me my mine and I syndrome, our country will forever be hampered and stagnated...And while on this, can you define for me the role of Tillman Thomas, governor general and Parliament in the decision making processes of our country? If as you calimed that Grenada is an Independent Nation (which some of our dumb asses celebrate February 7) , why would you denied the fact that Tillman Thomas's hands were tied regarding the release and employment of Gang 17? Why did Tillman have to seek the approval of the Governor General and not parliament in order to finalize the dismissal of Joseph Gilbert? Is the governor general the ultimate leader of Grenada, an independent state? Is he responsible for the release of and employment of Gang 17 too?

Stallion, I have got 'nough respect and admiration for Gabe...he has been through a lot with me by yet refused to give up. I like his convictions ...they are in most instances counter productive to the well being of the NDC and Grenada as a whole, but that's my brother Gabe. However, I will continue to challenge him and keep him on edge. He's a good fellow but he needs to begin thinking outside the box. His sense of reasoning is critical to the Tillman's failure. He's causing the PM to feel and think he is right even when he's wrong. Gabe does not have the interest of Tillman and the NDC party.

totally agree observer.as i have said before,my friend gabe may disagree, but tillman has to clean house.he is a very weak prime minister.just being a nice guy won't get things done.he has to be tougher with his inner circle.at least half of his ministers need to go.as you say,his advisers are asleep on the job,or maybe they are sabotaging the government.either way, tillman's ministers will be his downfall.and the only reason am blaming the prime minister is because he is the only one to fix his problem.
