Garraway and St. Andrews, I have no apology for you and the RGPF corrupt officers. In fact, it's people like you and members within the RGPF that are tainting our system. To begin with, you proclaimed yourself as Pastor and Minister of Labor of the NNP. Please explain to the Grenada people who is real and who is fake here on GC. It's against GC's standards to listen to people like you and censor me. GC is totally unlike you and Keith Mitchell. You lied and stated you were the NNP Minister if Labor. Now yo want GC to censor me. Are you afraid I'll expose you for what you are? Please don't double cross me PASTOR GARRAWAY! I promise to continuously expose you and members within the RGPF who are reaping off of country and tainting its legal system. I call upon our Prime Minister to have all those RGPF officers drug tested on a regular basis and fire those who steal, use and sell all seized drugs that never make their way to the courthouse for trial. Pastor Garraway,GC should not remove his post we are big enough to take a punch or two his fifteen minutes of fame will over soon.I have been on this blog to see many come and go,to express ones right to speak even it is vile and despicable it must not be censored.The most to do is to educate people so they will see right through these phony.Observer is one angry person I hope he goes to anger management.One thing to be critical but is another when you get personal and attack the hold organisation for the wrong a few did.If you look at Grenada it has one of the most restraint police force in the world,we donot have tourist being killed,as Isaid justice will prevail in the Oscar case,but to inflame and totally disrespect the entire RGPF is misplaced anger.

Good morning The Observer, I do hope you are having a wonderful day (to borrow the expression) 'in your neck of the woods'. Are you aware that many persons from all over the world reads our comments. I am disappointed with you in your what you had to say concerning the Royal Grenada Police Force. After all they are the LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY on the island. To accuse them in this way is very frightening and could further hurt the image of the country which we are trying to fix after this unfortunate incident last December. Our Police officers are men and women of high standards. I must admit, there are those who may not fully walk the path, but to castigate the entire force as corrupt is not right. I think you should try to fix this and you could start by asking the site administrator of GC to remove this unfortunate post. I could understand the emotions and maybe frustration, but we have to do it for the future of Grenada. And as we celebrate our 38th Anniversary of independence it makes it even more important to do that. Inclosing, Independence celebrations is usually a time when our people dress in the national colors uniting the flag.

The Enlightener, you made a valid point here which should be the expected behavior of any socal law abiding and democratic society. Unfortunately, since every goes on without repercusion and Grenada is an easy prey to corruption, I will have to support the PM on his ruling. Grenada is too vulnerable to people who are proned to and easily bribed to ever consider an independent commission. there is a price tag from the governor general to the ordinary government employee. Everyone of them can be bought or sold. An independent appointed commission would not be the answer at this time. Grenada is not there yet. For example, do you know I can give a police office EC$100.00 to alter my criminal record so that i can get a visa to Canada or America? Don't you know I can pay a RGPF officer EC$50.00 and get a passport within two days? Don't you know I can pay off a police officer EC$500.00 and have evidence against me disappear, so that my case in court can be dismissed? Don't you know a Grenadian can rape, steal and murder key figures in our country and yet be released and employed by which ever government gets into office? Do you really believe An independent commission is workable in Grenada? Tillman Thomas does not even have the ultimate say in dismissing a corrupt minister...he must seek the approval of a sitting Bull-the Governor General, not even parliament. Isn't something wrong here? Who is our leader-Tillman Thomas or the Governor General? I only wish we had hard working ethical and investigative journalists on the ground. The socal media here in Grenada do not get it.

Has anyone consider hearing the other side of the sager before casting judgment. Its the Prime Minister's prerogative to hire and fire ministers, but in light of the present gloomy financial environment and the role stability of Government plays in creating/attracting investment, this could have been handled differently. I am in no way condoning corruption if there is corruption. But on another note I think there should be an independent commission conducting a public inquiry to ascertain the facts in this case. If the Integrity in Public Life Commission was already set up, then they would have the led in this inquiry. Therefore my call for an independent inquiry.
