PRIME MINISTER CALLS FOR A CHANGE IN THE IMAGE OF POLIT...
Grenadian politicians must work to change the image of politics in the country. Prime Minister Tillman Thomas made the call on Sunday, at the Grenville Car-park in St. Andrew, as he addressed a thanksgiving rally, which celebrated his government’s victory over a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister, by the Opposition Leader. “When politicians do not live up to high standards, the people become skeptical and come to distrust politics and politicians. There should never be one standard for the politicians and a different one for the rest of society. Politics should not be viewed as a bad thing. As leaders, we should strive to change this perception,” the Prime Minister told an enthusiastic and emotional audience. The Grenadian leader said his government will continue to work toward reducing corruption, respecting the rule of law, practice good governance, be inclusive, protect the environment and heritage of Grenada and restore Grenada’s integrity. “Together, we must continue to build a decent society in which governance is characterized by integrity, where the interest of our people is paramount. But as Prime Minister, I am held accountable for the performance of my Government. Therefore, I am obligated to act. I took an Oath and I am not going to betray my people's mandate,” the Prime Minister said. In commenting on Grenada’s relations with the international community, the Prime Minister, who is also Grenada’s Minister for Foreign Affairs said that the country has the scars to show for “flirting with a certain ideology”. “I am convinced that Grenada's Foreign Policy must be based on common sense and the promotion of our national interest. We have a unique history and have paid a massive price for flirting with a certain ideology in the past. Our Grenadian people are now more aware and will not be led down the wrong road.” “We will promote relations that are in Grenada’s best interest. That, for me , is a sensible and responsible Foreign Policy,” he added. The Grenadian leader committed to promoting and protecting the shared interest within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and CARICOM and to seek to develop and strengthen bilateral ties with the countries of Latin America.

Gabe remember I mentioned to you and Stallion about evidence. Well it's out now. Tillman gave his report about the recipt of $50,000.00 not $150,000.00 as Keith Mitchel started up this whole mess. Mitchel wanted to put attention on lies on Tillman to remove doubt from his misdeeds. Tillman was transparent and indicated its all on the books and in the bank for all to see. Now look at Mitchel and his past when his conman from Jamaica Wildman did not even want anyone to see hear and know of the monies he was mixed up in. So forget about the False Preacher and conman, the one who calls himself Pastor Garraway. See the real truth is out now. Don't believe these jokers. Wait for the evidence and I bet if there was enough money in that inland revenue, you would see Keith Mitchel in court and in the jailhoouse where he belongs but time will tell. It aint over yet.

Pastor i again will remind you and your leader and supporters that if you have any solid and concret information concerning as you call it -THE PM RECEIVING BENT MONEY- pastor you should at once take such information to the DPP/FIU/AD and get this matter out into the public domain until then i and i am sure every other decent minded people in our country will take the view that your party is hell bent on blackening our PM name and devaluing our country and in fact what your party mischief making machine is doing is saying to grenadians that our PM is no different to your leader when in fact you know that what was taking place under the leadership of your leader and his so called financial backers was to sat the least criminal,Pastor grenada is currently enjoying an upsurge in this dire world financial climate the free world is listening and talking to us as was never done before because of the corrupt minded of the last government ,and i trully believe that your party propaganda machine is doing all it can to paint this PM and his Government in a negative light but as you know being a man of the cloth that -GOD-is good and the truth and light will shine through and you and your supporters will be punish by the hand of god for what you are doing in the name of political gamemanship. one love.

Hi Gabe, Greetings. When I last wrote to you I did advised if your heart is not well don't read my postings about PM Thomas and don't hold your breath about this facade of his claim of honesty and integrity. Well we were speaking about US$150,000 deposited into his bank account, but he came and confess about US$50,000 being deposited into his account by a friend for the party in January this year. If it was for the party it had to be deposited into his account. Well now he has to give account for US$200,000 to us Grenadians. Take a look at this story appearing on FOX news and this is not an allegation as the Briefcase which turn out to be a lie because while in opposition they had the copy of the tape and was just waiting to win the election to jail Dr Mitchell but up to this day nothing because they lied to us but this is facts, the confession of PM Thomas. Grenada PM discloses donation into bank account Published May 30, 2012 ST. GEORGE'S, Grenada – Grenada's leader has announced that someone he calls a "friend of Grenada" deposited $50,000 into his personal bank account five months ago. Wednesday's announcement by Prime Minister Tillman Thomas comes a few days after the leader of the opposition alleged that the government is benefiting from unsavory contributors. Thomas says the $50,000 donation is legitimate and, in his words, "no reward, benefit or consideration was demanded." He says the contributor does not wish to be identified and has a company registered in the British Virgin Islands. In Grenada, as in many countries across the Caribbean, political parties have no obligation to declare any funding sources and there are few to no campaign finance regulations. 2012/05/30/grenada-pm-discloses-donation-into-bank-account. Pardon me Gabe. You know by the PM accepting this donation he broke the laws of Grenada - The Integrity in Public Life, and the Prevention of corruption Laws. You ever wonder why the Laws were established for the integrity in Public Life an office were rented but up to this day the commissioners were not given their instruments to occupy the office? To be continued.

from day one,i realised that the prime minister was too soft with his comrades.you give them an inch and they take a yard.as little boy also said,he should have cleaned house inside out.i just hope it not too late cause i think the prime minister is a good man,but too soft.and for gabe,i think you may be a bit off when you say the nnp has no chance of getting back into power.as a matter of fact gabe, with all what is going on with ndc,how could you think nnp has no chance?my brother,i would not be surprised if nnp form the next government.the prime minister may not even be able to win his own seat.anything is possible.

Good Morning Pastor Winston Garraway (ARE YOU THE REAL PASTOR A MAN OF GOD)sir it now appears that you and your leader of the opposition is now hell bent on painting Tillman Thomas and his NDC Government as being bent and corrupted and i am wondering if this is not something that has been organised by you and your supporters remembering the stories that was going round some eighteen months ago re Nazim Burke having this off shore banking account and as it turns out it this was manufactured from within the NNP and some crazy headed supporter and is that what is happening again i say this because in my last posting i called upon you and the hench men within your party that if there are any concrete evidence about wrong doing/ corruptness/money taking by any persons/ministers within the NDC you should take it to the DPP/FUI/AD to get these matters properly investigate and charges brought against thoes you claimed are the corrupt ones but alas it appears that you and your leader is on a course off political trouble making trying to discredit the Prime Minister and that could only be because your party and supporters has at last realised that the NNP dont have a cat in hells chance of coming back into power for a long time because the free world would no longer trust your leader and his party with a DOLLAR let alone a CENT because of their past records so pastor(are you for real) as i have said before if your party has any information where you believe the law has been broken please take it to the DPP/FUI/AD until then shut up and let democracy prevail. one love.

Stallion I stand corrected, my mistake. Yes its time Tillman Thomas cleaned house. Too many of these thieves are in it for themselves and are not putting Grenada first. I say Tilllman needs to get rid of the whole dam bunch now while the going gets good and bring in the fresh young blood as you also know I've been advocating all along. Let Peter David go and form his own with his communist comrades as he calls them

Yeah we are the laughing stock of the Caribbean because of Peter David, Church, the man from ST. John and the one who calls himself the Pastor from St. George. IF there are disagreements, why not settle them inhouse instead of coming on out and barking like a wild dog all over Grenada and the internet. When Tillman made some changes sometime ago don't forget what Peter David and his associated did. We remember and won't forget when we get to the voting house. The bad apples have to go. Time to clean house now. We need good fresh young blood who wants to move Grenada forward.
