The Death is announced of Rudolph Sylvester Botas better known as Teddy Pendengnas of La Mode, St. George’s. Who died on Saturday may 25th 2012. At the age of 62. Teddy as he was affectionately called was born in Aruba on April 4th 1950. He was the second of ten children born to Logan and Rita Botas of Lamode, St.George’s. He came to Grenada with his family at the age of six (6). He attended the Beaulieu Roman Catholic school where he completed his education. After leaving school he worked with his father as an apprentice for several years then became a first class mason and worked for other companies as a private contractor. He migrated to Trinidad and lived there for several years before returning to Grenada. He then worked at Deco Industry from 2000 to 2012 then became ill. Rudolph was a loving and caring father. When his children lost their mother at a young age Teddy became both mother and father to his children. He was a very funny, friendly guy who was loved by all in the community. One of Teddy favorite past times was fishing and old talking. Rudolph is by five of his six children. John aka Gege boy, Sharmaine, Annie, Donnary, Kalon aka Popoboy and the late Catherine also known as kamo son-in laws Lenard Strachan, Anthony Newton, Anthony Thomas. Daughter-in -law Lucrucla, sitters Yevonne, Beatlice, Lydia, Valerie better known as Nanny. Brothers also known as Solomon and Kendal better known as Butch. Grand children Sarah, Kassie, Amazial, Courtney, Daniel, Noahon and Sonanan many nieces and nephew. The people of La Mode, Beaulieu, Vendome relatives and friends including Joe, Edwin De caul, Micheal Harding, Micheal Lewis, Sandsprat, Sylvia Noel and family, Karona Frazer, Jacinta Lewis and family, Worel aka Stumpy.
Teddy you have touched many lives. We will always remember your jokes, your laughter and your sense of humor. We love you Teddy and you will always be in our hearts. The funeral of the late Rudolph Botas will be held at Beaulieu Roman Catholic Church June 8th 2012 at 2pm. Interment will be followed at the Beaulieu cemetery
