Tuesday 22nd March 2011: The New National Party has announced the leaders in all but three constituencies as it prepares itself to return to governance of Grenada . Speaking during his presentation to the delegates, observers and invitees at the NNP Annual Convention at the St Andrew Anglican Secondary School on Sunday former Prime Minister and Political Leader of the New National Party Dr. Keith Mitchell did the honors of announcing the NNP Team. There are five women among those announced continuing the NNP’s trend of significant representation of women on the NNP team.

The NNP Leader made it clear that the NNP is not announcing candidates as this is not the time for such as no election has been announced. We are therefore announcing the Team Leaders who will lead the work being done in the various constituencies said Dr. Mitchell. The list of Team leaders Announced are as follows and are based on the recommendations of the branch executives of the NNP:



St. George North West - Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell

St. George South East - Sen. the Hon Gregory Bowen

St. George South - Mrs. Alexandra Otway Noel

Town of St. George - Mr. Nicholas Steele

St. Andrew North East - Hon. Roland Bhola

St. Andrew North West - Mrs. Delma Thomas

St. Andrew South East - Mrs. Emmalin Pierre

St Andrew South West - Mrs. Yoland Bain Horsford

St. Mark - Hon. Dr. Clarice Modeste

St. John - Mr. Alvin Dabreo

St. Patrick West - Sen. the Hon. Anthony Boatswain

Carriacou and Petite Martinique - Hon. Elvin Nimrod

Three constituencies were not announced at the meeting:

St. George North East
St. David
St Patrick East

Dr. Mitchell promised further information on these three constituencies in the near future as the New National Party continues on its rescue mission to save Grenada .
