NDC POLITICIANS FACING LAWSUITS
|

Several members of Grenada's opposition National Democratic Congress are facing civil lawsuits in connection with the alleged beating of a police officer.
At least nine members of the NDC including two members of the House of Representatives and a Senator are being taken to court over that matter.
It's related to a political spy scandal in which the NDC alleges that an executive meeting of the opposition party was being recorded by the officer at the heart of the beating allegations.
Opposition Leader Tillman Thomas while confirming that some of his party members had been served with papers, described the move as being politically motivated.
