The resignation of Mr. Reynold Benjamin as Political Leader of the Grenada United Labour Party, (“GULP”), is a significant loss to the political leadership of Grenada. So says Dr. Francis Alexis.

Mr. Benjamin, Alexis adds, had an acute political acumen which made him a notable political tactician. This was bolstered by Benjamin’s exciting vision and imaginative creativity.

Mr. Benjamin had unshakeable political courage, so that he was a unique ally, inspiring confidence in those around him, Alexis says.

It is to be hoped that Mr. Benjamin will continue to make available to Grenada his rather impressive knowledge of Grenada’s maritime oil and gas resources, Alexis adds.

Dr. Alexis says he prays that God will guide and bless Mr. Benjamin with the best in his future endeavours.
