Grenada's Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Mitchell, has called on his critics to produce a tape showing him receiving money from a former Grenada trade counsellor.

Dr. Mitchell has consistently denied any wrongdoing in the matter that first surfaced in a Miami-based newsletter "Offshore Alert" in April 2004.

The Grenadian Prime Minister has filed a criminal libel lawsuit against Offshore Alert and its publisher David Marchant.

Addressing a rally of the ruling New National Party on Sunday, the Prime Minister insisted that he had done nothing wrong in collecting the money.
