FIRST NATIONAL SERVICE DAY ACTIVITIES

INSIDE GRENADA JANUARY 19, 2008 from the National Democratic Congress
The National Democratic Congress has organized the first annual National Service Day in celebrating our independence, which will take place this year on Sunday January 20, 2007.
Each constituency is organizing a special project on which work will be done this Sunday and everyone is invited to participate in the project in their constituency or the project of their choice.
The following are some of the confirmed projects:
ST ANDREW’S
ST ANDREW SOUTH EAST: The cleaning of the Soubise Beach.
ST ANDREW SOUTH WEST: The painting of the Munich School and Community Center
ST ANDREW NORTH EAST: refurbishing of the Pearls Public Bathroom
ST PATRICK’S
ST PATRICK EAST: Work on the Guard Rail at Hermitage
ST MARK’S: Replastering water tank at Upper Coast Guard and Construction of Steps to tank
ST DAVID'S: Work on the Montraquil Road
ST GEORGE’S
ST GEORGE NORTH EAST: Upgrading of Beaulieu R C School
ST GEORGE SOUTH EAST: Rebuilding of Tarpaulin House at Belle Plane
TOWN OF ST GEORGE: Repair of road at Williamson Road
ST GEORGE SOUTH: Upgrading of Grand Anse Valley Playing Field
