MT. HORNE, St.Andrew’s (March 26, 2006): Today, residents from the village of Mt.Horne, as well as surrounding areas, turned out at the Mt.Horne playing field to advance work on the pavilion that is presently being built in the area.

Work seems to be progressing satisfactorily on the facility and preparations are currently being made to install the seats. This morning, enthusiastic workers were seen painting and preparing a large score board close to the pavilion, while others were absolutely engrossed in bringing chairs into the building, cutting out stencils and drilling holes into the concrete flooring so that the seats can be securely fastened down with bolts. It should not be too long from now before the pavilion is officially opened.

Mr.Starlen Romain, the NNP coordinator for the constituency of St.Andrew’s NW, is very instrumental in having the pavilion constructed at Mt.Horne. He claims that this is only one of the many plans that he has in the pipeline for youth and community development within his district and that he intends to work assiduously towards getting other projects going in some of the other villages throughout his constituency.
