MT. MORITZ, St. George’s (April 5, 2006): The sky ruptured with an array of colors and the air filled with the laughter of the kids of the Mt Moritz Anglican School on Friday last (March 31), as they hoisted their kites in the cool morning breeze to mark the beginning of the Easter holidays.
Children from the J W Fletcher Memorial RC Boys’ School also joined in this exhilarating moment.
The Mt. Moritz’s playing field became the main ground for these activities after the passage of Hurricanes Ivan and Emily. Joined by parents, guardians and teachers, the children enjoyed a morning of activities and kite flying competitions. Categories ranged from the smallest flying kite to the biggest flying kite, the youngest person flying a kite to the funniest looking kite.
The members of the Mt.Moritz community anticipate a wonderful Easter this year.
