Amidst the thousand enticements that vie for our devotion, ONLY one is sharp enough to pierce deep within the soul, the very heart of the human being – the WORD that brings hope and gives life a sense of meaning and purpose.

As the prophet spoke the words above he knew not the response to expect. One thing he was well experienced in was that regardless to the circumstances we find ourselves in or the issues that challenge us we would never be disappointed if we trust in Yahweh–Nissi.

Those words are timeless and, being timeless, they are as timely as ever. They beckon to us at a time when “all hell” seems to be breaking loose in our communities, when the majority of us are more interested in money, sex, drugs, partying and attitudes of apathy rather than Godly things.

What then do we do when the consequences of our ungodly attitudes are upon us? Sometimes we weep and wail and turn to futile rituals that provide neither relief nor comfort. What should we do then? Run, of course. Run to the ONE in whom you will never be disappointed.

Instead of giving up repent, turn from your ways and fall upon Yahweh-Nissi through His SON Jesus. Call unto Him and see for yourself. Yahweh-Nissi is waiting for you to acknowledge you’re your helplessness and trust Him to save. He then unfurls His banner for all to see – His banner of hope, peace, love and deliverance. Why wait any longer?

Today if you hear His voice do not harden your heart.
