NaDMA monitoring tropical wave
|
|
August 23, 2006 The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) wishes to inform the general public of the emergence of a tropical wave in the area. Should it continue on its current path it is likely to develop into a tropical depression within 24 hours. This means that Grenada can be affected by associated weather conditions such as heavy rainfall. NaDMA would like to inform the public that we are monitoring the system and at this moment there is no need for panic. However, if there are any further developments we will continue to inform you. Again we urge you to continue listening to your radio station for updates. NaDMA takes this opportunity to re-emphasize the importance of being prepared.
