SEPTEMBER 01, 2006 - The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has appointed Mr. Anthony “Tony” Deyal as it Corporate Services Manager (CSM) with effect from September 1, 2006. As CSM, Mr. Deyal will have responsibility for the functions of Corporate Secretary, Corporate Communications, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.

Mr. Deyal has a wealth of experience in the field of management. He was most recently Public Education and Outreach Specialist (PEOS) of the World Bank/ CARICOM Mainstreaming Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) Project based in Brazil. This project effectively covers the 12 English–speaking Caribbean countries. He was also the Media/ Communications advisor of the Pan American Health Organization/ World Health Organization in the Caribbean from 1992-1998. He also held the position of Manager of Corporate Communications at the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago.

In commenting on his new job as CSM of the WICB, Mr. Deyal, who is a passionate follower of West Indian Cricket, stated that he intends to add value to the efforts of the WICB and all the other stakeholders of the game to bring West Indies Cricket back to the top of world cricket where it belongs.
