GRENADA - A motorcade to promote disaster awareness will be held in St. George’s on Sunday September 10, 2006.

The motorcade is being organized by the St. George’s North East District Disaster Management Committee.

It’s been held as part of events marking the second anniversary of Hurricane Ivan.

Participants are asked to assemble on the Greens in Mardigras from 12 noon on Sunday for a 1 pm start.

The motorcade will make several stops along the route from St.Pauls to Beauleau to promote various aspects of disaster awareness.

Stops will be made at Good Hope, Tempe Junction at the Catholic Church, Tempe/Mt. Gay Junction at the gas station, Snug Corner, Vendomme, Boca (close to the school), Melrose/La Mode Junction and Mt. Gay Junction.
