The Grenada Bureau of Standards has released the following draft standards for public comments:

1. Standard for the Care & Protection of the Elderly
2. Code of Practice for the Management of Tourist Attractions

The standard for the Care & Protection of the Elderly sets out the minimum requirements for residential and nursing homes as well as guidelines for the care and protection of the elderly as a whole.

The Code of Practice for the Management of Tourist Attractions sets out minimum requirements for the proper upkeep and operation of attractions.

Copies of these drafts can be found at the Bureau’s office located at Queen’s Park, St. George’s.


All comments, in writing should be addressed to the Director, Grenada Bureau of Standards, P.O. Box 2036, Queen’s Park, St.George’s.

The last day for comments is December 15th, 2006.
