MANDOO TOURS --------------
Mr. Mandoo Seales of Mandoo Tours has been assisting in Standards Development and Voluntary Standards Implementation for the Tourist Industry for a number of years.
Mr. Seales is both a tour operator and tour guide. He is the owner and manager of a tour operator company, ‘Mandoo Tours’. The award is given based on the following:
Participation in Standards Development Since 2002. Mandoo has actively participated in development of standards for the Tourist Industry on a voluntary basis.
For that period three standards were developed:
* Code of Practice for Tour Guides,
*Code of Practice for Tour Operators and most recent
*Code of Practice for the Management of Tourist Attractions.
In the development of the first two standards he sat on the committee as a representative from Grenada Hotel & Tourist Association (GHTA) and in the last instance in his personal capacity.
The Bureau congratulates Mandoo on his achievement.
