THE ST.ANDREW’S CRICKET LEAGUE, on Saturday October 28, held its annual presentation of awards at the Pappy D’s nightclub located in the picturesque, rural village of Mirabeau, St.Andrew’s.

Some of the high-profile dignitaries present at the awards function were Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell; Minister of Sports, Hon. Roland Bhola; Parliamentary Representative for the Constituency of St.Andrew’s NW, Hon. Allen Walker and Parliamentary Representative for St.Andrew’s SE, Hon. Kenrick Fullerton.

The St. Andrew’s Cricket Council has successfully been running cricket competitions within the parish for more than twenty years. This year, some forty-two (42) cricket teams registered and played cricket under the jurisdiction of the council. The 42 teams were divided into four divisions: Division A (12 teams), Division B (10 teams), Division C (10 teams) and Division D (10 teams).

Awards were given out in the following categories:
