THE GRENADA NATIONAL Basketball Association, in collaboration with the Grenada Olympic Committee, will be hosting a high level Olympic Solidarity Basketball Coaching clinic, December 12- 20, 2006.

Sessions will be held at the Grenada Bureau of Standards Conference Room at 9:00AM daily.

This clinic will be conducted by Mr. Terry Layton (FIBA expert - Basketball Connections, Colorado Springs, USA) and funded by the Grenada Olympic Committee. Upon successful completion of the course, the names of the top coaches will be forwarded to FIBA for inclusion in the FIBA approved coaches and panel and membership in the World Coaches Association.

We hereby extend an invitation to the media to attend the opening ceremony at the Grenada Bureau of Standards Conference Room on Tuesday December 12th at 9:00AM. The Minister of Sports, Permanent Secretary and Executive members from the Grenada Olympic Committee and the Grenada Basketball Association will be among others in attendance at the ceremony.

You are also invited to attend the closing ceremony which will be held at the same venue on Wednesday 20th December, 2006 at 2:00PM.
