FELLOW GRENADIANS, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, visitors to our shores: Peace, grace and mercy unto the beloved of the Lord. That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. But speaking truth in love; may grow up in him in all things, which is the head even Christ.Ep.4: 14 – 15.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, a few days ago, I heard a priest at a funeral saying that we were all God’s children. Let me enlighten this gentleman, and this nation, that we - according to the scriptures - are all God’s creation, but unfortunately we are not all God’s children. And this is one of the reasons why our Lord Jesus rebuked the scribes and the Pharisees, when he said: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And If I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.Jh. 8: 44 – 47.

As I stood there at that funeral, there were many heretical statements and requests made by that priest; among them that we should pray for the dead. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, if we by pray, can change the spiritual status of the dead; and salvation, righteousness, and favour; can be had, after we would have died in sin; then Christ would have died in vain. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, the falling away is here and false Christ, false prophets, and false doctrines are certainly making their mark, in the body of Christ.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, my responsibility is to please him that sent me, and let me make it quite clear: I am no respecter, of persons.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, recently the Pentecostal Assembly of the West Indies introduced a new doctrine across the board, that in short gives pastors the right to marry divorcees. It is my understanding that no scriptural references were given in this communiqué, so that the church could revisit and correct its previous error. People are concerned about these compromises that have been introduced to the churches without local consultation, and without biblical foundation. In short, this so-called correction came from the pit of hell. This type of behavior continues to show our lack of fear for God, and total disrespect for the word of God.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, truth is perished in the land, and the sanity and integrity of our officials in government and none governmental organizations leaves a lot to be desired. The present position in this country with allegations of scandals and corruption in government; and with a very powerful opposition that is very determined to see an end to this government; a show down is inevitable.

It is not too late for our present Governor General to resign if he thinks that his sanity and integrity is under the microscope of this nation. When Moses’ sanity and integrity was challenged, he left the goodies of Egypt and fled. When Dame Hilda Bynoe, Governor of Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique and her sanity and integrity was challenged, she resigned (although as far as I knew; at the time, she did no wrong.)

The truth is that God has called upon this nation to repent, and we did not. The word of God says: that their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god.Ps.16:4.

It is only repentance and reconciliation that will provide us with Godly mercies, peace and visions for the future. Brethren, some people think that they can do without God, but they will have to learn the hard way. I am concerned that there is trouble on the horizon, and that plenty blood will flow, much more than was ever shed before. I can smell it as I have done in the past, and it is very near.
