Carlyle Anthony Snell, 56 of Harrisburg passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Carlyle was born on December 18, 1969, in Grenada to the late Cuthbert I. and Laura Thompson Snell. He is survived by his wife, Agatha Snell, three daughters, Makayla Snell, Imani Snell and Sheenah Alexander, one son Ngozi Snell, three sisters Tonia Auld and Deborah Lewis (Owen) and Yolande Adams, and three brothers, Joseph Snell, John Snell, sister in-law Anne Snell, and Delbert Jeremiah (Agatha), granddaughter Ayana Martinez, Siter-In Laws, Mare Alexander, Veronica Alexander, Joann Alexander, Julia Alexander, Catherine Alexander, Margaret Alexander and brother-in law Jones Alexander, special friend Patrick Purcell, along with many nieces, nephews and friends from Grenada, England and Canada.
Carlyle will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. He worked for TIAA for 36 years, he enjoyed fishing, working in his garden and spending time with his family. Mr. Snell enjoyed his work family from TIAA.
The family will receive friends on Monday January 19, 2026, from 5-7pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church on Tuesday January 20th at 1pm with Father Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
I can't imagine the pain you're feeling, and my heart aches for you!😭 losing a loved one is indescribable, it leaves void that words cannot filled, but the God Lord will never leave your side.
He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Jesus knows all about your sorrow!
