Uncle Henry was the last(to leave us) of my mother's brothers and sisters. We loved each other very much. Everyone remembers the rides on his bike and the kisses he gave whenever he meets anyone of his relatives or even his friend. A few days before he left us he told me how much he loved his family and I know he meant it to his heart. To all cousins and their families i want to say God bless youall and let that love continue in our lives. May his soul r.i.p. until we meet again.

i would like to start off by saying, My grandfather (Mr. Henry Harvey) Was the best grandfather a person could ever ask for...I always remember going to Grenada every yr when my sister and I was younger, and we would spend hrs hanging out with Grandpa, he would push us in his wheel barrel, and take us for rides on his bike, we used to sit down with him and peel nutmeg, the best part was his cooking...oh we used to luv the way he cooked his fish...Grandpa the last time i saw you was in 2008 when we came down for my grandmother( Ms. Katherine Bell) Funeral, You looked stronger then ever and always had a smile. Why did you have to leave so soon? (I guess you are in a better place now, you are resting and thats the most important part you are no longer suffering) U will be missed and i wish i could have been there to see you one last time. You will never be forgotten. Love always Melissa Harvey

I would like to start off by saying Daddy,(Mr.Henry) was a very kind and gentle soul. I will never forget the first time i was privileged to meet him, I travelled to Grenada with my children Linda, Anthony, Joshua. From the time I arrived there, there was such a love that was demonstrated that you just knew was pure and straight from the heart. The most loving man I have ever meet. unfortunately, there is one regreat that I will have to live with... and that is the promise that I made to Daddy to come back and visit him. The day has come where he has been taken from us and off to a better place. He will always be rememebered and missed. Love always your daughter-in law Adriana Harvey

Mr.Henry affectionately known to my siblings and I as uncle was a special man,he was the cream of the crop when comes to the men in Grenville. He had a nice, sweet, and approachable personality that even the smallest child gravitated to him and loved him. Uncle was a very dear friend to my mom and dad and they loved him, he loved everyone and his kindness was like a beacon of love to all. Uncle will be greatly missed and the town of Grenville will never be the same because someone dear to me, my family and the entire neighborhood of Grenville has been called home by the master. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his children and all the lives that he has made a difference in. Gone but will never be forgotten. To the family be strong and God will give you all the strength to go on.Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

The passing of Uncle has hit me hard. When we were little children in Grenville I really thought that Mr Henry was our uncle for real. This man was the nicest. He always passed by almost every evening to see us. I have vivid memories of him putting three of us on his big BSA bike #29, Layne on the gas tank, Ceal behind him and me on the tail light and riding us up the hill to Methodist school and back. He was a good man, a very, very dear friend of the Chitans in Grenville. Whenever I go home I always enjoy talking to him. Still remember him walking on the stony road in the lane bare footed by his house. He will be rewarded for his love for people. On behalf of the Original Chitan family from Grenville especially those in Canada; Mom, Etlyn and Layne and all our children, we wish God's blessing and care on his family as you mourn his passing. RIP UNCLE! Love to Vivian, Willie, Wallace and Semi. These I was closer to. Neals Chitan

To My Uncle Henry one of the sweetest persons that I know, I always enjoy his company when I visit him in Grenada, he was so much of a loving uncle and as God would have it I was there in Grenada to see him for the last to hold his hand and talk to him and although I thought he did not recognise me, He did because he Told Lean My cousin thatI was there. May God take him safely through this journey and receive him unto himself, what a glorious union. I pray that my cousins will remember him and focus on the fond memories, and through it all knowing that he is with the Lord. Farewell Uncle, we will meet on the beautiful Shore.

I will always remember Mr. Henry,Though I was very young, he helped hold me down for the medical staff to stitch my foot at Princess Alice Hosp. It's really sad that sometimes you think you have all the time in the world to go see someone, or that same person will always be there, then we go about life. Grampa's in ah better place now, away from all the hurt and pain, so it's best to remember him for those who do, when he was in his usual jolly mood. We'll love grampa but i guess God loved him more, that he chose to take grampa to be closer to him...Grampa Harvey you'll forever be missed in our minds and forever in our hearts..
