Special Info  Debra Ann Charles affectionately known as “Debbie” was born to Joseph and Agatha Charles on December 27, 1963 at Colony Hospital in St. Georges, Grenada where the family lived for some time. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Carriacou. She attended Hillsborough Government School and Hillsborough Junior Secondary School. She met and fell in love with Davis Williams and got married. The union bore them three children. In search of a better life they migrated to the United States, but unfortunately the marriage did not live up to expectations, and eventually ended in divorce. She did not let this unfortunate life experience discourage her or daunt her spirits. She continued to work hard with the thoughts of her children and looking forward to the day when they would all be reunited. Thanks to her loving mother and kind relatives she was assured with comfort that her children were in safe and guiding hands and would be welled nurtured and cared for until that day of reunion. True to the Christian teaching of her parents who were her first teachers and that of her schools in a highly Christian country, Debbie had and maintained a strong faith in God, practiced Christian principles and regularly attended the Adventist church. Her strong self-confidence, bolstered by her faith, was apparent throughout her adult life as she worked hard in spite of her health problems; she did not let it get her down. But as the scripture says “death came like a thief in the night.” She was always a sweet, quiet soul, but never when it came to music and dancing. Her passions were cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting which she was very good at. She leaves to mourn her mother Agatha Zenith Caesar Charles, children Aheber, Makimba, Akimo Williams brothers Martin Caesar, Norbert Lewis and Christopher Matterson; sister Jennifer George; nieces Niffer George, Norzika, Willyne, Norlyne Lewis; nephews Howard Jamal Caesar, Stelon George, Quwen Lewis; grandchild Zakim Williams; aunts Adella Johnson, Elsie Renie, Linda Paul, Uncles King Caesar, Sister-in-law Wendy Lewis, Carolyn batson, Cousins: Judith, Kathleen ,Suzan, Pamela, Troy, Lenno, Nellis, Marcia, Sonya, Huwitt, Tichina, Antonette, Violet.
